Zulu

ZULU is powerviolence par excellence. And yet the combo founded in 2019 by singer Anaiah Lei that was originally planned as a solo project, turns the genre upside down – or gives it a smashing head-butt. Contrary to the predominantly white bands in their genre, ZULU create a very real and brutal environment. The anger and frustration is not an attitude with ZULU, the topics in their lyrics have been personally experienced. On their 2020 EP “My People…Hold On” they force us to watch and recognize the brutal racism in their home country. It’s a big topic that ZULU puts into songs that rarely crack the two-minute mark. A condensate of boundless aggression. We will savor every second of it at FULL FORCE 2023.
