Ways Away

Attention, attention, supergroup incoming. Because behind WAYS AWAY are BOYSETSFIRE drummer Jared Shavelson, STICK TO YOUR GUNS frontman Jesse Barnett, SAMIAM guitarist Sergie Loobkoff and RACQUET CLUB bassist Ian Smith, no less than four very well-known bands behind the members. With their mixture of alternative rock and post-hardcore, they ignite eleven musical flares on their 2022 album “Torch Songs” which includes fast, dark punk tracks as well as melodic numbers. The content is about anti-capitalism, life in the pandemic and the evergreen themes of love and loss. The band is a win for the 2023 FULL FORCE line-up.
