The Scratch

Originally, THE SCRATCH were a classic metal band. But then the four-piece combo from Dublin exchanged their electronic equipment for acoustic instruments and proved that an intense, powerful sound can also be achieved without amplifiers. Crowdsurfing and wild mosh pits are part of the standard programme of every THE SCRATCH gig. On their latest album “Couldn’t Give A Rats”, the quartet mixes traditional Irish music with typical metal elements. Triumphant melodies are chased by vicious energy. Lyrically, THE SCRATCH are always on the threshold between wisdom and crazy word fanfares. They unleash both on us at FULL FORCE 2023. We are already hanging onto their lips.
