Believe the hype! Because SPIRITBOX are rightly creating a big splash in the metal universe. The paranormal runs through the creative work of the Canadian band like a red thread. The name alone goes back to a device that allows alleged conversations with the afterlife. Despite this proximity to death, the music of the combo is full of life. After several EPs and singles, their first album “Eternal Blue” was released in 2021. And it has it all: catchy choruses, djent and metalcore elements as well as electronic-atmospheric sounds are carried by the clear vocals and growls of singer Courtney LaPlante.
