SOUL GLO take us through the wringer with their music. What they trigger are imaginary ear bleedings, irritated-fascinated grimaces and involuntary body spasms. The four-man band from Philadelphia is also extremely demanding in terms of content. Their agenda includes racism, capitalism and social grievances. Their music is not only boisterous and always on the verge of turning into a complete riot on their latest opus “Diaspora Problems”. Tempo changes, staccato vocals, screeching shouts, crazy riffs and insane drums – at most, the unexpected is expected here. And because we don’t just love surprise eggs, we’re only too happy to jump into the fray in front of the hardcore chaots’ stage at FULL FORCE 2023.
