SLOPE appear in a hectic jumble of hardcore, rap and funk on their current record “Street Heat”. The quintet from Duisburg has packed its first studio album with social criticism, recurring beat changes, retro sounds and groovy riffs. As icing on the cake, there are psychedelic borrowings, wild double bass action and funky melodies.
