Ever heard of Fukuoka? If not, then we should change that as soon as possible. Because the city on the Japanese island of Kyushu is the home of the metalcore powerhouse PALEDUSK. When the five musicians pack their suitcases, they end up with a wild mix of nu metal, industrial, EDM and metalcore. In 2020, they invited us to a special kind of talk session with their EP “Happy Talk”. Instead of diplomatic negotiating skills, the quintet takes their counterparts here with electronic drum breaks, heavy riffs, powerful vocals and punky elements in the wringer.
