Bloodbath

When the two bloodhounds and KATATONIA musicians Anders ‘Balkkheim’ Nyström and Jonas Renkse had the idea for a death-fearing side project, Dan Swanö as well as OPETH frontman Mikael Åkerfeldt were immediately on board. From the red tides of this musical brainwave rose the death metal troupe BLOODBATH – and released “Resurrection Through Carnage”, a befitting debut album, in 2002. Since then, things have been turbulent, especially in terms of the band line-up. The current line-up features PARADISE LOST singer Nick Holmes on the mic. His voice leads us through a zombie inferno full of bones, blood and guts, into a putrid parade of the dead – and in front of the stage at FULL FORCE 2023. We are looking forward to a musical massacre with hateful growls, catchy riffs and strong hooks.
