The self-proclaimed AUTHOR & PUNISHER of hypnotic, droning robot doom rock combines everything in his one-man band AUTHOR & PUNISHER. Without further ado, the San Diego native creates the instruments and sounds himself. And with these tools he hammers us with dreamlike precision. He grabs us and pulls us along into a world where impenetrable heaviness meets an almost celebratory lightness. On his latest melody-landed work “Krüller” he delivers eight defiant pieces of machine music that waft dystopian-beautiful.
